OCC Safety Classes
         
Outagamie Conservation Club offers several safety classes throughout the year. All of our instructors are certified with the state of Wisconsin and/or local authorities. Hunter Education and Bowhunter safety classes will be announced when they are scheduled throughout the year.

Boater Safety
ATV Safety
The Outagamie Conservation Club, along with a Wisconsin DNR certified Boating safety instructor invite all individuals interested in recreational boating to enroll in the Wisconsin boating safety course. The course fee is $10.00, which covers all necessary materials. Registration will be on the first night of class which is usually in March. Persons successfully completing the course will receive a boating safety graduate certificate and a distinctive embroidered emblem. Young students certified will be able to operate a motorboat without a parent or guardian present at age 12 instead of 16. This course is required for anyone between 12 - 16 years of age who wish to operate a personal watercraft.
Boating can be fun when done properly. Better educated boaters help protect the positive image of boating with the increased demands on our waterways. DON'T LET YOURSELF BECOME A STATISTIC!
A safety course for the operation of ATV's is offered through the Outagamie Conservation Club. The class runs two consecutive Friday & Saturday's in April and/or May. Registration is on the first night of class. The course fee is $10.00, which covers all materials needed.

Persons successfully completing the course will receive an ATV safety graduate certificate and an embroidered emblem. Young students certified will be able to operate an ATV without a parent or guardian present at 12 years of age.

Classes will cover ATV safety features, pre-ride inspection, basic riding skills, safety features, protective gear, rules and regulation, ethics. responsibility, and handling outdoor emergencies.

     
         
         
           
             
   
  Snowmobile Safety      
Archery Safety
Class which usually are in December and/or January Registration is @ 5:30 PM. We will then have a class afterwards at 6:00-9:00 PM. You must attend all of the classes to complete the Snowmobile Safety Education Course. The course costs $10.

Hunters Safety
       
            The next OCC Hunter Safety Course will begin in September 9th and run for five consecutive Tuesdays. There is no pre-registration. Registration will begin at 5:30PM -- first come, first serve -- with class beginning at 6:15PM. Thereafter classes begin at 6:30PM. All classes end at 9:00PM. The course registration costs $10.
Adult Hunters Safety
Adult Safety Hunter Education is for adults only. The CD ROM/ Internet Course will be from 8am-3pm on Saturday August 16th Pre-Registration is required prior to July. CANCELLED
